Mrs. Dora B. Henry, 82 died at 10 p.m . Sunday Dec 13, 1964 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Mary Hughes, Waynetown. Mrs. Henry who had made her home with her daughter since her husbands death in 1957, had been seriously ill for two weeks following a series of strokes. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County, living in the Waveland and Waynetown communities. She received her education at Mt. Eden School near Little York and was a member of Christian United Church. Born Sept 20, 1882, in Washington County she was a daughter of Daniel and Almeda Bryant. She married Jesse Henry 1908 at Crawfordsville. Survivors include the daughter, and two other daughters, Mrs. Peggy Edwards and Mrs. Wandelene Gardner; 3 sisters, Mrs. Jane Floyd; Mrs. Ethel Bane and Mrs. Lizzie Hahn; 11 grandchildren 4 greats. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Olive Smith who died last April and a son James who died in 1920. Funeral services were conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies funeral Home Waynetown with Rev. John R. Servies officiating; interment in Freedom Cemetery, 3 miles northeast of Waveland. - kbz

Waynetown, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Dora B. Henry, 82, died at 10 p.m. yesterday (Dec. 13, 1964) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Hughes on Waynetown Route 1. She had been seriously ill two weeks after a series of strokes. Born Dec. 20, 1882, in Washington County, Ind., she was the daughter of Daniel and Almeda Bryant. She was married in 1908 to Jesse Henry at Crawfordsville. He preceded her in death in 1957 and she had resided with her daughter since his death. Mrs. Henry had spent all of her married life in the Waveland and Waynetown communities. She was a member of the Christian Union Church. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hughes, Mrs. Peggy Edwards of Park Ridge, Ill., and Mrs. Wandelene Gardner of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. James Floyd and Mrs. Ethel Bane, both of Wingate, and Mrs. Lizzie Hahn of Scottsburg; 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter and a son. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Servies Funeral Home. The Rev. John R. Servies will officiate. Burial will be in Freedom Cemetery, three miles northeast of Waveland. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. Tuesday. - kbz

Waynetown – Mrs. Dora (Bryant) Henry 82 a native of Washington County, died at 10 a.m. Sunday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary Hughes, Rt 1.  She had been seriously ill two weeks after suffering a series of strokes.  She was married in 1908 to Jesse Henry at Crawfordsville. He died in 1957 and she had since resided with Mrs. Hughes. She lived in the Waveland and Waynetown communities in Montgomery County all her married life. She was a member of Christian Union Church. Surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Hughes; Mrs. Peggy Edwards of Ridge Park, Ill; Mrs. Wanda Lene Garner of Fresno, Calif and three sisters, Mrs. Jane Floyd and Mrs. Ethel Bane both of Wingate and Mrs. Lizzzie Hahn of Scottsburg.  – kbz
